The Historic Obici House - Special Events Venue

And "Welcome" to The Historic Obici House at Sleepy Hole Golf Course!Built in the 1920's along the banks of the Nansemond River, the Italianate mansion was the home of Amedeo Obici, founder of Planter's Peanuts, and his beloved wife Louise. The Obicis were well known in Suffolk for both their philanthropy and gracious hospitality. After being closed for a number of years, the house has been renovated to much of its original grandeur and will now take on new life as a modern day Restaurant and Special Events Venue.

The Obici House is the perfect location to host weddings, galas, reunions, rehearsal dinners, holiday parties and fund raisers as well as business & civic meetings, club luncheons, and conferences. We hope to see you again!
